Parvin Atabay: Eager to Help Others

Aside from her impressive career as a businesswoman, Parvin Atabay is known throughout Los Angeles and the rest of the world for her desire to help other people.  Many friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances have commented on Atabay’s giving and caring nature, which works tirelessly to serve others.

Though Parvin Atabay invests herself in a variety of charitable efforts, it’s certainly clear that underprivileged children steal Atabay’s heart.  A mother of two herself, Parvin Atabay has a spot in her heart for children everywhere, in both third world countries and at home in California.

Having grown up in Iran and immigrated to the United States around the time of the Iranian Revolution, Parvin Atabay knows the difficulties and challenges of living in a country that doesn’t have the same benefits and freedoms of the United States.  Atabay has seen life on the other side of the globe.  However, raising her children in the United States has given her a good perspective of childhood in a Western country as well.

Parvin Atabay hopes that soon she can travel to Kenya, the Philippines, Thailand, and other third world countries.  A children’s book is currently in the works for Parvin Atabay, and traveling to these countries in order to research and gather stories for her book might be necessary in the near future.

Though Parvin Atabay loves to travel, the trips will certainly be a major time commitment.  However, Atabay’s eager willingness to help others will give her the necessary strength to make the trips.

Currently, Atabay’s main charity-related focus is on the monthly events she hosts in local parks where children can play, work on arts and crafts projects, and learn invaluable reading skills.  The events bring together the community, underprivileged children, and Atabay’s friends and family.  Many children have been impacted by her charitable efforts in Glendale, CA.

Parvin Atabay, Zia Atabay, & National Iranian Television (NITV) United

Professionally, Parvin Atabay is CEO of Arti Enterprises, Inc., a management company.  She has 22 years worth of experience in the medical industry as a business and management professional.  Additionally, she has done a great deal of charity work to help children around the world.

However, those who are close to Parvin Atabay know that the person to whom she is married is extremely political in nature.  While Parvin Atabay herself is not political, her husband, Zia Atabay, is involved with a highly-political television station.

What is this television station?  The television station is called National Iranian Television (NITV) United.  The 24-hour Persian news network station broadcasts worldwide, but primarily targets Iranians.

However, satellites are illegal in Iran, which makes it dangerous for viewers to tune in.  Despite this legal restriction, Iranians are tuning in to NITV United, hungry for the message of democracy.  Zia Atabay is proud to be an instrumental figure behind NITV United, spreading the message to oppressed people in Iran and around the world, and Parvin Atabay is happy to support him.

Despite the fact that satellites are illegal in Iran, NITV United is the most popular network amongst Iranians.  In addition to bringing the very best in news-reporting and political programming, National Iranian Television United also focuses on delivering quality entertainment programming.

Entertainment and cultural programming can be a great way to spread the same message, but through more creative means.  NITV United also focuses on music and arts in its quality programming.  Parvin Atabay is proud to stand behind her husband’s television network.

The network is a leader in its niche and is widely respected by other networks that focus on politics and oppression.  Parvin Atabay intends to continue to support her husband and his vision for the future for years to come.  She loves her husband will do anything to bolster his vision for the world.

For Parvin Atabay, Family Comes First

At one point or another, nearly all business professionals are forced to choose between family and career.  It isn’t always a choice that must be permanent.  Whether it’s for just a week, weekend, or particular season, sometimes only one of the two can win out.  Parvin Atabay is familiar with having to make this choice on a few occasions.  And, for Atabay, family always wins.

Parvin Atabay loves her family.  Most wives and mothers say they love their family, but for Atabay, that love has been demonstrated with countless sacrifices.  As a business and management professional in the medical field, Parvin Atabay is met with many challenges time and time again.

However, she has made the conscious decision to always choose her family if there is a conflict between her career interests and her familial obligations.  Knowing ahead of time what her choice will be has helped Parvin Atabay maintain her steadfast commitment to her family.

Though her two children are now grown and pursuing their own careers (one as a writer, the other as a fashion designer), Atabay still prioritizes her family.  Her husband, Zia, is the founder and President of National Iranian Television (NITV) United, the premier Iranian news network.  Her husband's high profile job has sometimes made getting good family time together difficult!

Due to how busy both Parvin and Zia Atabay are, it's no surprise that finding time for family in the middle of bustling schedules can be very difficult.  Parvin Atabay continues to make a lot of effort to ensure that family stays at the forefront of her priorities.

Parvin Atabay is the CEO of Arti Enterprises, Inc., a management company in Encino, CA.  Outside of her professional life, Atabay volunteers her time with various charitable organizations that focus on the needs of children worldwide.
